I have a bit of a history of leaving quirky outgoing msgs on my answering machine. One year, shortly after Thanksgiving I recorded one where, in a very very sweet, charming, calm, almost musical faint voice I intoned,
“In this season of peace and joy, as the angels play their harps and Santa and his elves are creating the toys for the children, let us always remember one thing…”
(slight pause, switchover to a toy echoing microphone, voice change to deep and monstrous and VERY LOUD)
“… THAT I AM THE DEMON FROM HELL AND I SHALL DEVOUR YOUR SOUL!”
